Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus || Spoken Word

okay… =___= lets try this again….hopefully it desnt get deleted this time! 

i like his enthusiasm and i see where he comes form but imma try and comment on every point he makes.

1: Republican doesnt automatically mean Christian… REALLY?! wow i did NOT know that thanks… THANK YOU CAPTAIN OBVIOUS! 

2:”If religion is so great, why has it started any wars” Religions dont start wars, people who misinterpret them and become fanatics to it start wars! i’ve never heard of a religion that states “Thou shall kill thy neighbor for his goods”

3: “Why does it build huge churches but fail to feed the poor” Umm escuse me sir, not only is the Catholic Church the biggest charity producer in the world, but there are also countless Christian AND non Christian organizations that aim to help those in need, driven by a sense of love for God and fellow Man!

4: “Tell single moms God doesnt love them if…” imma stop you right there. And let me make this clear. There is NOTHING that anyone can do that will make God not love them anymore! God loved you since he even formed you in your mother’s womb. God IS love! and Love requires nothing in return to exist! God doesnt need our permission or our love in return. True Love is self sufficient and, again, God IS love!

5: i absolutly have no comments on the whole preach but dont practice. perfume on a casket,  chores, and mummies…..

6: “There’s a problem if people only know your a Christian by your Facebook” This…i COMPLETELY agree with! Everyone should know what we stand for, what we believe in, without writing it down for them. We should be shining images of the love of Chirst! we NEED to be Christians, not just tell people we are.

7:”Hospital for the Broken” i also agree with this! But this is not his original quote or watever. Some people might think it is, but ive heard this before. just saying. But again, agree with it!

8:  ”I WANT THAT MAN”…AMEN!!!!!

9: “Would they actually let him in?” If Chirst came to my parish?! YES! my parish is serviced by Scalabrini priest. With a divotion to serving migrants. So we are used to seeing people come in that dont look on their “Sunday’s Best” but still come and pray. Once i even went to mass in my dirty, sweaty baseball uniform because we were running late and no one told em anything besides, “glad you could make it” =]

10: “But one is a man mad invention” umm sir, the Catholic church is NOT mad eby man. would you please read Matthew 16:18 out loud for the whole class to hear?!

11: “One is the cure, but the other is the infection” did you really just say that?!?!? okie watevs, lets keep going. im not gonna waste time on this.

13: “Man searching for God” Like @Seanseanpokemon said, whats wrong with looking for God?! God doesnt need to look for us,cus he has found us already. It is US who NEED to find him it is US who have pushed our selfs away form his grace!

14:”Not based on my merits” although nothing we can do will ever win us His Grace, it is VERY important to do good deeds and such. please read James 2:14-16

15: “HE WAS THINKING OF YOU” AMEEEEEN!!!!

16: “It is finished” bro keep reading! The bible does NOT end there!!! SPOILER ALERT…HE RESURRECTED!!! The prophecies had come true but that was just the start! Look at The Great Commission!! Matthew 28:16-20

The commentary. THIS. I get where this guy is coming from and I think it’s awesome. I agree with a lot of the video. But the guy needs to get his facts straight. Basically all of what Carlos said!
